Basics have never looked better. I recently bought this high neck crop top with skinny straps at Forever 21 (I couldn’t help myself, I got it i white too). I like that they have a 90’s feel to them. The fun thing about basics is you can dress them up or down. Wear them with light wash denim to complete a 90’s look or dress it up with a leather skirt and a statement necklace.
Do you want comfort and style? Jogger pants are the way to go. They are such a cool look and instantly add an edgy look to your wardrobe. You can never go wrong with leather, it never goes out of style. A graphic tee or a plaid shirt are a great pair for your leather joggers.
It’s no surprise that I love an all black outfit. It’s chic and timeless. It’s also perfect when you have a key item you want to stand out, like a necklace, a bag, or in this case a blazer. Year after year the floral trend continues to be hot for summer, with printed pants, skirts, dresses, and everything else. Brighten up your look by wearing a colorful print jacket or blazer over an all black outfit. Its a pretty and feminine pattern to have in your closet for the season.

stripes & leopard?
When mixing patterns, it can get confusing. How do you avoid looking like you got dressed in the dark? Prints can be very simple. What I find easy is to mix colors not prints. The key is to mix prints that share a similar accent color. Doing so, keeps your look cohesive.
Stripes and leopard? It works and I love it! I don’t think of stripes as a pattern but a neutral. Other neutral patterns like; leopard and camouflaged, go well with anything. Pretty much any black and white patten will mix well with other patterns. Patterns such as; florals, polka dots, check pattern , and geometric prints. After you picked out your prints you need a neutral piece to balance out your outfit.
Mixing patterns is a fun style that is definitely worth experimenting with. Dress it up or down. Key thing is to have fun. Mix it Up!

When wearing white I’m always on the alert, the last thing I need is a spill or a stain. Regardless, I love an all-white outfit! It’s fun, stylish, and chic. Let’s embrace this monochrome look all year round, it’s perfect for any occasion.
Some rules are meant to be broken. My plus size beauties, we can wear anything which includes all-white. Style is all about stepping out of your comfort zone. There is no secrete to wearing all-white, just some useful tips;
- Try different textures. Various fabrics add style.
- Add neutrals to finish your look like, nude, gold, or black.
- Accessories are your best friend. They can make or break your outfit. A monochrome look is a great way to make your accessories stand out like, rocking a bag with a pop of color.
Monochrome outfits are my favorite. I love to wear this style in all black, white, or grey. I highly recommend to try this all-white look. It’s a big summer trend. You can stay comfy in white jeans and cotton tee or an all-white blazer and trouser combo for a cool office look.

A white tee is a simple item that can do wonders and perfect for almost any occasion. As ours wardrobes start to transition to summer, a white tee is key. They are comfortable, cool, and versatile. It’s a very easy piece to work with. Today I’m wearing a crew neck with side slits and ripped denim, I styled up my outfit with a large fringe crossover bag and peep toe lace-up boots (a trend that I’m abusing this season).
Whatever your style might be; crew, v-neck, or boyfriend, a tee is comfortable and always in style. They are so easy to dress-up or down. Try pairing you tee with leather shorts, a skirt with a fun pattern, or boyfriend jeans. The combinations are endless.

“When life gives you curves, flaunt them.”- unknown. Who said a size 2 is the only beauty in the world? We are all beautiful no matter what size we are. Its up to us to believe so and be body positive.
Fashion is all about self expression. This is a fun way to show off your personality, feelings and ideas.
Why play it safe? Have fun with your style. Whatever shape or size you are, we can wear anything. But very importantly feel comfortable. Nothing ruins your mood quickly then the discomfort of a blouse or skirt. Here are some pointers to dressing up your curvier figure;
- Highlight your waist by wearing a wrap top or dress. They are adjustable to fit any size and comfortable.
- A-line skirts are not only feminine and classic, they conceal a heavier bottom.
- Don’t be afraid to show off a little skin. Wear a top with a lower neckline, it’s a subtle but sexy way to show a bit skin.
A simple yet chic trend for spring & summer is color blocking. Which is when your outfit is composed of multiple solid colors. To create this look you first need to choose a color scheme and mix 2-4 colors. Normally color blocking is displayed with brighter hues. It can also be done with lighter hues and my favorite black!

Hi fashionistas!
I’m here sharing another cool and chic way to sport this long top with a slit from Charlotte Russe. When shopping, I look for items I can wear over and over again. It’s fun for me to come up with new and different looks revolving around a single item. Last time I showed you how to have fun with a festival boho look. Now I’m talking things in a different direction.
Should you wear the same color all at once? Yes!
The monochromatic look is always in. Dressing in one color is chic and stylish. Dressing in different shades of the same color work too. It’s a fantastic combo if you are trying to draw attention to a key item like a bag or in this case shoes.
Here are some stylish tips to creating a monochromatic outfit. Mix and match different textures like, cotton, leather, wool, or lace, each texture will add dimension. For example try a black leather skirt with a black cotton top. Add subtle patterns because they will create visual depth like, a cotton shirt with a velvet pattern. To give your look more texture use accessories which are fun and create a statement. Great statement pieces is a bag with a pop of color or a chunky necklace.

My wardrobe is starting to get into the Spring state of mind, with soft colors and fun patterns. But it couldn’t be me If I didn’t wear a little black. There is something about Spring that inspires a certain lightness to dressing up. The warm weather invites a casual mood.
Nothing says casual like comfy pants like joggers. Crops tops are ideal with high waisted pants. If florals aren’t your thing an abstract pattern can be a good substitute. Want to dress up your look a little? Heels do the trick.

festival guide
Where does everyone join together to listen to a great line up and are decked out in their boho best? Coachella, where “Festival Fashion” is so fun!
That is why I’m so excited to wear my new slit top from Charlotte Russe Plus. Yes! Charlotte Russe finally has a plus size line. I’m so excited! I thought this top with the slit in the middle would be fun for a chic boho look. It creates a gorgeous and flowy silhouette. Paired with distressed shorts, a floppy hat, and laced up boots you have a cool boho outfit.

a mad hatter
No surprise here is another look with a slit accent. I can’t get enough of them. They are fun, flirty, and sexy.
I recently died my hair red. So, I wanted an outfit that would complement my new do. An all black outfit was perfect especially to this event, A Mad Hatter Tea Party. Ladies dressed in black, white, or purple, and of course a hat! I wanted to have fun with my hat, so I decided on a retro turban. With a black maxi skirt, transparent top, and a statement necklace, I pulled out of my closet a fun and retro look. I love that the simplest items can turn a modern outfit into a vintage inspired look.
